Apple Keynote Events One-Page Summaries and Reviews

Every year Apple unveils and releases new products -the Macbook Air or the Apple TV for example- or sometimes major updates to existing ones -like the iPhone 3G- but it doesn't just do a press release or a small conference or quietly updates it's website with the new material, of course they do all that but only after the main show has passed and the dust settled down.

Apple is a very secretive company, in fact it is so much so that the 2 main ways in which us Apple's desperate fans -I'm one of them I'll admit- get any information concerning new releases or updates is either....

....via patent files: The best and fastest way to find any information about any idea that Apple plans to develop in the future since it must be patented first, and ...

....insider information leaks: Sometimes sources close to Apple like retailers or manufacturers let out some piece of information or a picture or two of any new products that might still be behind curtains.

That is until they decide to hold an event to release all the information and products they've been holding from us for months sometimes.

These are the so-called Apple Keynotes, already known to any Apple fan or anyone with even a marginal interest in Apple products and have been going on for some years now. In these Apple Keynotes, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs shares info about the company's business and not only announces or unveils, but I think the most appropriate expression is 'shows' any new products or updates in extremely original and stylish way.

For me, Apple uses these keynotes together with Steve Jobs uncanny ability to make you 'want' anything, to 'sell' the product to the media and to the fans, who of course have been salivating for weeks or even months thanks to the anticipation built by the lack of any info before.

But one way or another, hyped or not hyped, Apple products seldom disappoint, in fact it is the consistent quality of the iPods, the Macbooks and the all-mighty iPhone that make us fans wait in despair until the 'next keynote'

So here you'll find our always-mandatory one-page reviews / summaries of the most recent keynotes held by Apple. No need to say, I skip the technical stuff and focus on what concerns us, the everyday user.

Sidenote: This site is pretty new so you will find info about the keynotes held from the second half of 2008 and onwards.

Check out the one page reviews of Apple Keynotes below or if you have iTunes, subscribe to the podcast and download them, they are funny and interesting for the most part.

Enjoy
